As a boy, Ted spent solitary weekends wandering the streets of New York City with his trusty Nikkormat.
Through a photography career that has taken numerous twists and turns (sometimes hairpin), he became considerably more social (cocktails helped). Along the way, he discovered a love of food and cooking, leading him to his photographic happy place, where his subjects range from chefs to dairy cows.
Ted’s favorite assignment is one that tells a story; he brings that sensibility to all of his work, whether it is for a magazine feature or product marketing. While serious about photography, he believes a shoot should be a collaborative effort and above all, fun (and hopefully provide an opportunity for him to show off his impressive MacGyver skills).
Ted’s photographs have appeared in cookbooks, national and regional magazines, major advertising campaigns, on numerous websites, and banners towed by blimps (just kidding about that last one).
He also makes a mean barbecued brisket (really).
